Adobe Express Add-ons Hackathon

The Adobe Express Add-ons Hackathon is an online competition running until July 16, 2025. It invites developers, designers, and creators to pitch and prototype ideas for new add-ons that expand the functionality of Adobe Express—a platform used for quick and accessible content creation.

Participants are asked to submit a short pitch video (up to three minutes) outlining their proposed add-on, demonstrating technical feasibility within the Adobe Express environment, and explaining how they plan to develop it further if selected. While only a video is required, optional materials such as mockups, technical plans, or proof of concept links can support a submission.

The hackathon is open to individuals worldwide (subject to standard eligibility exclusions) who are above the legal age of majority in their country of residence. Projects will be judged on user value, originality, feasibility, clarity, and relevance to specific prize categories.

Six winning projects will each receive $5,000 in cash, mentorship from the Adobe Express team, and a feature in the Adobe Developers blog. Categories include best AI-enhanced experience, best workflow hack, new video innovation, collaboration tools, and a wildcard prize.
