Google Cloud Agent Development Hackathon

The Agent Development Kit Hackathon with Google Cloud is an online global competition running until June 24, 2025. Participants are challenged to design and build multi-agent AI systems using the open-source Agent Development Kit (ADK), in either Python or Java, with optional integration of Google Cloud services such as BigQuery, Cloud Run, and other AI tools.

The hackathon encourages projects across several key areas: automation of complex processes, data analysis, customer service, and content generation. Entries must demonstrate coordination between multiple agents and include a functional demo, public code repository, project documentation, and an architecture diagram.

A total prize pool of $50,000 is on offer, with awards for a global winner, regional winners (North America, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, EMEA), and several honorable mentions. Judging will consider technical implementation, creativity, and the quality of the demonstration and documentation.

Optional bonus points are available for those who publish technical content or contribute to the ADK open-source repository.
