YEA Case Comp 2022

The YEA Case Competition 2022 challenges teams of three to four students with a real-world problem to solve. Utilising their theoretical knowledge, students gain first-hand experience to develop their critical thinking, build new skill sets, push themselves out of their comfort space and create lasting friendships.

Registered teams submit their case challenge solutions to be judged by leading engineers who decide on five finalists. These finalists then pitch their solutions before a judging panel of professional engineers who will determine this year’s national champions!

All team members who submit a Case Challenge Solution will receive a digital certificate of participation and be in the running to win $500 each.

The top 10 teams will be announced on Monday, 29 August 2022 and will be asked to submit a 5 minute video presentation for further judging and participation in the People’s Choice round. Voting in the People’s Choice category will open on Tuesday, 20 September 2022 providing a chance for the public to view your submissions and vote for their favourite solution.

The five finalists will then have one week to prepare a slide-deck presentation and answer some additional questions before the Livestreamed Finals Event on held on Wednesday, 22 September 2022. The top five finalists will then pitch before a judging panel of professional engineers who will determine the winning team.
